Design Week Rho Fiera

So, I went to the Rho fair today, VERY disappointed this year. After 5 hours and very sore feet, I should have many more photos for you, but it was.....banale. That's the best word for it........banale.   There were the usual big names Edra, Dedon, etc. but even they had nothing new. Well, nothing interesting. And everything started to look the same. I've always preferred "fuorisalone", but I always used to  find some interesting things here.  This may be the last time I do the Fiera. This gorgeous display is from the Missoni stand.
I loved these oversized hand-made felt embroidered couches, pillows and rugs

as always, some of the more interesting things were in the Satellite area where new artists show

this was supercool, by computer designing various patterns and then printing them on translucent paper with a particul ink mix, the paper takes different shapes as the designed wet ink area dries.
great branch chair idea for the mountain house (fake fur :)
why do i love geometric lights so much???
this stand was one of my favorites last year too, unfortunately, it didn't change much
                                                       beautiful smoothe slabs of wood
                                                                       fun ceramics

their furniture was banale like most but this room divider was cool. and that's it, the end.....5 hours and only 15 pictures worth showing
