A day in the hood

This little second-hand place is named Props because the owner works in film/commercials and sells many of the leftover items like this floral swan from a Motorola commercial. I have yet to be impressed by a thrift store in Italy. It's mostly contemporary crap and the prices are as high as, if not more than what you can get at Ikea.

I think I'm gonna return to get this even tho I don't smoke. What's up with my ashtray/lighter obsession?
NO WAY! I went back to buy this and they want 80 Euro! I'm just not used to spending that kind of dosh in second hand places. Love it, but can live without it.

This is another one that is just second-hand crap, except that SUPER kewl bike which is mine :)

I do like this table, thinking to get it

I LOVE my area!  I have always lived in the center of every city where I resided but my  boyfriend introduced me to his area in Milan. It's called Niguarda and it's just next to the biggest park here called Parco Nord. It's so nice to have such a massive park to walk my dog each day. And these are some of my neighborhood treasures.
 I
It's massive and in the summer they hold concerts and small markets in the beautiful gardens

just another angle

This dilapidated villa across the street  is a renovator's DREAM! Supposedly, it's the churchkeeper's old dwellings. It's all boarded up but you can tell from the top little window that someone lives there.
