This is the famous Naviglio Grande in Milan. It is the largest canal in Milan, about 50 km long and was constructed in the 12th Century. There's usually water in it. It's known for it's many antique stores, restaurants, pubs, vintage clothing shops and art galleries. The last Sunday of each month it hosts an antiques market full of vendors from all over Italy. My guest blog collaborator, Zoe Lee, the shoe designer of the same name who was in town to show her new collection for Fashion Week, decided to take her mother ( my new BFF) to see the sites and here are some of the pics she did for me. |
