Christmas season in Budapest

Fun colored eggs with different decor than what seemed to be seen all over.  I was told that they normally use eggs at Easter time but they have learned to appease the tourists all year long with their  beautifully hand-painted eggs.  Most are real egg  shells but I prefer the wooden eggs, for many reasons.  

I only found these gorgeous white eggs in one place.  They were all beautiful, but, of course, I MUST  find the more unique ones. 

It was explained to me that this beautiful flower is a typical design in Hungarian floral motifs
